![]() ![]() ![]() I've so far not seen the AI manage to use navies much (at all). or am i missing something? (i've never had the AI take / occupy one of my towns, so i haven't been able to see the "spreadsheets", so to speak, to confirm if their occupation of my towns is causing a deficit in my economy or not.) does occupying towns have any economic effect? or is heading straight toward each district's capitol still the best / only strategy for invasion?ĭoes the AI build + upgrade fortresses? (having mostly played inland european nations, i admit my fog of war around the world is pretty dense, so maybe other players have seen the AI do this?) it seems the AI that i'm invading still gets financial + resource benefits from these towns even when they are "occupied" by enemy forces. however when i moved my first stack of invaders into an enemy town, nothing happened. i thought it would lead to new strategies of throttling your enemies economies to death, forcing him out of his cities into offensive positions in attempts to free up his income and resources. ![]() When i first loaded and saw all the little towns on the map, i was excited! i thought this meant that these towns would be not only important strategic targets during invasions, but also a means of getting defenders out into the field more often. ![]()
